Laura Fiorenza, O.D., has achieved the status of Diplomate, American Board of Optometry, 2013. She now joins the elite health care professionals who qualify for the Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Program. This qualification is part of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) effort to ensure rigorous continued education and standards for health care professionals. The ABO is one of the first organizations to achieve inclusion in the PQRS. The ABO successfully completed the vetting process to ensure the ABO MOC program meets participation requirements.
